Creatures of the night, terrors of the shadows. You name it, they lurk. Especially around Jayden Young. After the nonsense she gets dragged through and into, Jayden would love nothing more than to never see the dirty, pale, or furry face of another supernatural figure again. Luck being a lady, she was in way over her head before it even began.

|Rewrite Summary| As the bringer of life to everything on our Earth, it’s said that the sun is also where the angels originated. The sons and daughters of Helise, the Spirit of the Sun, whom she created to bless the world with her grace and her beauty. Ever jealous of her sister, The Moon Spirit Saryn wanted to match Helise by giving a gift of her own to the Earth as well. Yet, the children of Saryn housed their Great Mother’s spite. They grew to be feared, deemed the demons of the world for their violent nature and excessive hunger for the human spirit. For the celestial Mothers completed the cycle of life and growth by uplifting the human race, and granting their beings as the source of power for their children, to all live in harmony to the benefit of all. With this pact of mutualism at an escalating imbalance, the death and fear to follow was terrifying. These angels and demons from the celestial Mothers shook the earth with their wars, the children of Helise protecting the human race from the sons and daughters of Saryn. Both beings were culled to near non-existence, and the demons who survived receded to the depths of the Earth, rejected by the humans. The angels, the protectors, also vanished. The rest of their existence would be shrouded in secrecy and mystery from that point, their memory forever left to the dying lore and age-old tales. The sun is indeed whom to thank for all of Earth’s life... But I am most grateful for the moon. (In stead of deleting the old, or posting ANOTHER story with what I'm rewriting... I'm going to house both versions on the same book. Navigation should be clear, enjoy.) [Original Version Summary] Born and raised in a small suburb of Chicago, Sable Clayson's simple life if taken for a joyride by supernatural beings: Angels and Demons. Thrown into their world, Sable finds her true role, and learns these beings are not demons nor angels to begin with
