The Skinny Life of Rowan Jones is about a Junior in high school who has been struggling with an eating disorder since the beginning of freshman year. Rowan has friends who love each other unconditionally yet fail to notice when she is struggling. When Rowan's brother's friend, who also happens to be Rowan's ex-childhood friend, starts to notice Rowan struggling, will he be able to help her break her habits of restriction? Or will it only cause Rowan to push him away even further than before, leaving her to submit to her greedy and demanding dear friend Ana?
