Gustong ipakasal ng lola ni Xian ang kanyang apo kay Kim. Nakilala niya si Kim sa isang cruise trip na inisponsor ng kanilang kumpanya, anak ito ng isang dealer ng furnitures sa kanilang Housing Company. Unang kita pa lang niya sa dalaga ay naniniwala na siyang ito ang makakapagpabago sa kanyang apo. Ginagawa niya lang naman ito dahil nag-aalala siya para kay Xian. Hindi na kasi ito umuuwi sa kanila at 3 years ng mag-isa si Xian sa States.
