Lily's been lost for nearly as long as she can remember-jumping from year to year, from time to time. She never stays long, and cannot control when or where she lands. One day, after being thrown from ancient Greece to the Roaring 20s in America, she finds herself stuck. She's unsure what's changed or how long this jump will last. Then, she meets Juliette. She's stunning, intelligent, funny and oh so charming. Weeks turn into months. Juliette tells Lily that she loves her, and Lily realizes that, for the first time in all of time, she is in love. This must be why she's been lost in time: She was looking for Juliette all along. Lily tries to explain everything to Juliette, and when she finally falls asleep in her arms, everything finally feels right. But when Lily wakes up, she finds herself in 1670 Russia.
