When they get closer to the girls, they realise they are in bigger trouble and hide who they really are. Can the help them or will they be pushed away? Story of a 14 yr old girl whose trying to live a normal life whilst living with epilepsy. How will she cope with the stress of school, medical issues and life?

Hailey Upton-Halstead received a call while at work one day that she never thought she'd get. She had a little sister, barely 4 years old, abandoned at Chicago Med, beaten. Her mother had signed custody over to her and fled. Now she had a decision to make with her husband, Jay. Set starting towards the end of season 5; Hailey and Jay are married but no one in the unit (except Voight and Trudy) knows.

This is a story about the Halstead family. Jay Halstead and Hailey Upton are married and live with their fourteen year old daughter Maddie in Chicago. Jay and Hailey are members of the intelligence squad at district 21. Follow their story as they work as cops and at the same time try to raise a kid.
