I have a story, called 'Side-by-Side'. It has a chapter with 'memories' from when the Newsies were little, so that's what this book is based on. Memories of our favorite Newsboys! It's mainly when they were smaller than their strike ages. (I do not own Newsies.)

He's been to the Refuge twice, and lives with the Manhattan Newsies, as Jack's second in command. What happens when Oscar falls for the Italian speaking Newsie? What happens when Race falls for one of his sworn enemies? What will their friends/family's reactions be? What will happen? Will they be happy and live together? Or will their relationship crumble?
