I sat down, plugged my phone into the charger and picked up my book. I felt the brisk pages brush against my skin until I flipped to the page I was reading. I read about 4 words before I heard my phone ring again. Caleb. To answer or to ignore...? I answered it. "Hel-" He cut me off again. "You need to fuc-" This time he cut himself off. There was such a long silence I started to think he hung up. "Caleb?" I said nervously. He never had weird outbursts like that. Probably just a long day for him. Nothing to worry about. Right?
