You were a Westalis soldier in your childhood, as well as a type of being who was connected to another plane and could do things no one else could. When the war came to an end, you became a private investigator and gained some renown. At one point, you adopted a girl who also has special abilities.
One day, a police captain approaches you with a case regarding several murders. You are tasked with proving the innocence of a suspected city hall worker before she is formally arrested. After taking care of the case and proving her innocence, you attend a party with her. Resolving an unexpected loose end, the two of you decide to get married for each other's convenience.
The two of you try to raise a daughter and live a normal life outside of your bizarre respective works. A lot of problems will come your way, but nothing is stronger than love and family.
