"because you're the last star sloane. you're the last shining star in my sky full of blank stars waiting for the right person to come along and eventually see you." ╰━━━━━∙⋆⋅⋆∙━━━━━╯ sloane richardson has always been described as the "perfect girl", well only by a few people. she has both beauty and the brains yet instead of admiration and positivity, many people still choose to ignore her like she's a ghost. she barely has any friends, leaving her most of the time alone. her childhood best friend, jackson moved to new york city when the pair were young, leaving sloane to fight through high school without anyone. suddenly, the start of senior year, sloane's father gets offered a new job and all of a sudden they're on their way to new york city, leaving the past behind them and the future ahead. she transfers to a brand new school, hoping that her loneliness will not follow her along the way and she can finally begin a new chapter. but what she doesn't know is that this new chapter may be just the one she needs to sit down and read. jackson lancaster has always been known for one thing and that is his main focus on sports, especially football. he use to keep to himself, never let anyone in, except her. until he moved to new york one day and changed for the better, well so everyone thought. he became everyone's blind eye, everywhere you looked, he was there. he knew everyone and everyone knew him. though, after starting a brand new life which he has finally got use to living the last few years, what jackson doesn't expect, is for a old, familiar face to appear after all this time. when jackson meets sloane, after years of being separated, his attention is very close to shifting from the field to her, again
