Avi Kaplan was just another typical guy. He was sweet; that is of course when he actually talked. He was a quiet, mysterious guy, and had a bad past. Ice Queen was the first Pirates Of The Caribbean fan fiction I wrote, and, because of that, it's very special to me. I'm proudest of it, because I was at a very good place mentally when I wrote it. I was a lot more confident about my writing (I've since had a few nasty comments, which dented my confidence a bit.) I love the character of Cathy, even though she's probably a total Mary Sue.
