Alec is an Alpha who basically doesn't know what to do. Alec was always supposed to be an Omega but turned out to be an Alpha. He doesn't know how to act because their dad left at an early age. Magnus is an Omega, trying to find his true Alpha. Both attend a party at a bar, totally separate. Let's see how this relationship forms and continues. Ben's injuries are too severe for him to be at the Institute, they needed a warlock's magic. Basically, what would happen if Alec had a twin brother named Ben. ------ A/N: The story begins with Jace's thoughts when he goes through he portal with Valentine at the end of 1x13. In this story, all events of Season 1 of Shadowhunters have happened, but it won't really go along with Season 2 as I started writing this before it, and most of the trailers for it, came out.
