Book 1 Brotherband chronicles fanfic In Skandia, there is only one way to become a warrior. Boys are chosen for teams called brotherbands and must endure three months of gruelling training in seamanship, weapons and battle tactics. It's brotherband against brotherband, fighting it out in a series of challenges. Only one brotherband can win. In the mix is a young girl who fights the traditional views of her people to become a warrior and valued member of her teenage society. I don't own anything but my own OCs and some dialogue. Disclaimer: The first parts of this story are not up to par with my later writing and are a little "rough". The reason I have decided against editing them is quite simple, it is a reminder of where I began. So feel free to cringe at those parts, and I hope you enjoy the latter ones. After a failed mission Lydia gets poisoned. With time running out, the crew sets off to find a cure, but will they be in time to save Lydia? Meanwhile, the poison brings back old memories from Lydia as a little girl, her parents and grandparents. Will the Herons find out more about her past? And who did this to Lydia? Could it be someone they know, or is it someone the Herons have never met before? I do not own the Brotherband characters. My own characters and the storyline do belong to me.

Returning home from a mission in Toscanna, the heron's find a teenage girl drifting at sea on a slab of wood. She has no clue who she is other than her name, or where she came from, except that she can fight and she can't go home. When strange ships follow the heron and her crew are captured on a supply restocking mission, what plan will Hal come up with to escape? Will the girl they found be able to help them survive when Scandia and Araluen are threatened?

Just fluffy stuff with all your favorite Herons. May throw in Rangers Apprentice if I feel like it. Just here to have fun so relax.
