Meet Rachel, a sharp and nostalgic 10-year-old gamer of Botswanan-French-American heritage, whose passion lies in the classic military games of decades past. From the gritty tactics of Company of Heroes and Command & Conquer to the aerial dogfights of Ace Combat and War Thunder, his expertise spans forgotten battlefields. His life is a stream of retro games to a small but dedicated audience.
One day, during a marathon of Hearts of Iron IV mods, reality glitches. Rachel is violently torn from his room and reborn into the shattered world of Remnant. The shock is twofold: he now inhabits the futanari, female V-Tuber avatar he used online, and the Grimm-infested wilderness of Vale stretch out before him. Disoriented and vulnerable, he stumbles upon a relic from a world he understands: a battered, sand-colored Humvee, stocked with anachronistic military gear.
Just as despair sets in, a cold, mechanical voice echoes in his mind: "Strategic Command System - Online. Authentication: Commander Rachel. Welcome." Rachel discovers he can interface with this "Military System," a reality-warping power fueled by his encyclopedic knowledge of every game he's ever mastered. He can now summon the very units, weapons, vehicles, and aircraft from his beloved classics-not as pixels, but as real, steel-and-gunpowder forces loyal only to him.
Armed with 20th-century grit in a world of Dust and Aura, "Commander Rachel" must adapt. Using summoned G.I.s from Battlefield, MiG fighters from Wargame, and tanks from World of Tanks, she will carve out a place in Remnant. From defending villages with Company of Heroes infantry to launching grand campaigns with Red Alert tech, she'll redefine warfare. But as her power grows, she attracts attention: from Beacon Academy, the White Fang, and the shadowy forces of Salem, all wondering-who is this mysterious girl in a digital avatar's form, commanding armies from a bygone era?
