It was after the Cold War and right before America "killed" the ussr. The thing is though Country's can die it is possible you think. But it is not in a lot of cases like the Soviet Union. Russian empire is dead. And the Third Reich is to but not the Soviet Union. Even though everyone thought America killed The USSR which was multiple country's including Russia. He didn't. China and The States have been enemies for a long time, years and years, but as the 1970's and 1980's came around, the two began to slowly kindle a friendship, and eventually, become lovers. This is a Chiname story (China with the U.S) which follows US and China relations from 1911 up to present day, I find the history between these two fascinating and thus am making a story about it!
