Ryan Schumacher, a 17-year-old boy from Seattle, is sent to live with his grandparents in rural North Dakota after his parents encounter a near-fatal car accident. While Ryan isn't too excited to live in such a quiet town, he soon meets others that welcome him with open arms. One night though, a girl goes missing and Ryan must bear the weight of being the only witness to this terrifying event.
