Because of (Y/n) working, she doesn't really get to hear Kubo's stories. But she's fine with that. Then one night, (Y/n) goes off to Kubo's cave to return something, and she see's him dreaming. It was about a house fire. Later that night, they find out that it was (Y/n)'s house. The fire killed her father, but later they realize who set the fire, and what their intentions were. (Y/n) and Kubo embark on a journey to collect something ancient of high importance to both Kubo's and (Y/n)'s family. They also find out that what Kubo and (Y/n) are searching to protect, is what the people who set the fire really want. And the power Kubo and (Y/n) retrieve to fight, is not nearly as powerful as the power that still grows between the two of them.
