Poprvé v historii je překročena rychlost světla, lidé se poprvé setkali s mimozemskou civilizací. Život se zdá být zdánlivě bezchybným. Stačí však málo a vy zjistíte, že takový rozhodně není. Stačí zahnout z osvětleného bulváru do vedlejší uličky, kde v nočním mrazu spí na holé zemi opuštěné dítě. Nejsou to žádné vražedné stroje. Jsou to skuteční lidé, kteří mají skutečné problémy, emoce a city. A ono „svobodné" rozhodnutí, které je vehnalo do řad armády, nebylo vždy tak úplně svobodné.
