Author's Note. This is my sequel to Brokeback Mountain. Yes, I know that Jack Twist dies in the film, but I've always wondered what would have actually happened if Jack and Ennis had a life together. It's been a long time since Jack died. Ennis finds an article in a newspaper that makes him think back.

Two men working together, two men with their own separate lives. Two men who form a close bond, two men with their own children and wives. What becomes of these two men, we cant tell what happens. But it all started and ended at Brokeback Mountain.

This story takes place from the final scene with Jack and Ennis together beside the lake, but skips over Jack's death. Can the sweet life really be theirs?
