After Izuku was diagnosed quirkless his life turned into a living hell, he was bullied everywhere except for home where his mom would always try and cheer him up. One day after Izuku turned 9 he was beaten up by some of the older kids in his school till the point he ended up in the hospital. After that Inko talked to her husband and they both agreed that they should move somewhere else and find a better school for Izuku. Both Inko and Shota found a school near UA where Shota was planning to start working at, the school was a very nice one and both of them hoped that Izuku would have a better life here. So they moved to the new area and Izuku entered the new school where he met his two soon to be best friends. Ryuko Tatsume and Rumi Usagiyama.
