The same story we all know and love, but with a whole new twist: Vikings as dragons! Hiccup and the others are pulling their lives back together on Dragon's Edge after a most devastating event. Dragon hunters are on the rise, capturing and killing more dragons than ever. When a brand new species of dragon washes up on their island, hope is renewed. The small pack decides that it's time to reclaim their place in this world. Known as Dragon Riders in the original story, these seven become the Dragon Rescuers. And through all of the chaos, love blossoms in numerous places, and between some very unlikely pairs. But will seven determined dragons be enough to defeat all of the dragon hunters?

STORY (2/2): READ 'THE GRAY AREA (1/2)' FIRST! *This story is Viggo X OC* After meeting, bonding, falling in love, and fighting together to save the King of Dragons, Viggo and Sessa expected to have a bit of calm. Unfortunately, Krogan and Johann weren't the only dragons hunters in the Archipelago. As a new threat begins to rise, the Night Riders are called on by their newest allies to help save dragons once again. During a new war, against a new enemy, Sessa learns eerie things about her past. And with her lack of childhood memories, it's impossible to tell what is and isn't true.

' She breathed in deeply, picking up on a faint and fresh scent of mint on him. "Even if it's only me, is that enough for you?" Loki purred with a knowing smile, still hugging her tightly, "am I enough for you?" Pulling her head away from his chest, she looked up into his eyes. They were much closer than she'd ever seen them before. Blues and greens danced in his irises, and the emotion of love was strongly defined around his being. "Even if only one will see me, it is enough," she confirmed quietly, "but you...are more than enough." She wasn't sure why the breath caught in her throat, or why she found herself nearly speechless under his charming gaze. And he wasn't sure how she'd managed to get under his skin and into his heart, but there was no doubting that fact. The joy on Loki's face at hearing that he was more than enough for this woman made her feel as though she were flying through space. ' • • • She crashed into Earth with no memories at all. Until a familiar face brought everything back. Being more powerful than the God of Mischief himself, she was charged with the mission of gaurding Loki during his imprisonment in the Avengers Tower. Emotions blossom where they never could before as fate brings Loki and this woman closer than ever. • • • Takes place some time after the first Avengers film. ♡

' "Put her down, Bucky." It was Steve. Staring up into Bucky's eyes that were now glued to the captain, Brenna saw the soft blue turn to steel. A low growl grumbled in his throat. He gently placed her back onto her feet, whipping a knife out of his belt. He pushed Brenna behind him protectively. Backing away with caution, Brenna could only watch as the suspense rose. "Don't make me do this," Steve pleaded, his voice sounding tired. But Bucky was gone once again, taken control of by the Winter Soldier. And the only thing that mattered now was completing his mission. The two lunged for each other. ' • • • Brenna Halliday Stark. She'd never dreamed that one day she would have superpowers; that one day, she would kill. One day, she would fall in love with an assassin under the control of HYDRA. But it happened. What starts as innocent curiousity almost costs Brenna her life many times. However, with new abilities arrising seemingly everyday, she becomes an incredibly powerful opponent. Including her grettest ability yet: the power to calm and even heal the Winter Soldier. • • • Takes place mostly during The Winter Soldier and the unfilmed events after that movie. For the sake of this story, Civil War and any movies afterwards never happen. I want there to be a nice, happy ending. ♡
