Remus Lupin is blind. He used to be able to see, but after he was knifed in an alleyway at age 7 because his father was caught up in gang business, his eyes were destroyed. He knows how to live, how to get around London effectively, but he's been treated differently, as if he's an invalid. He just wants to be seen as a normal human being, but no one apart from his best friends can see him this way. Until Sirius comes along. Too broke to have a place of his own, has found himself knocking on the red front door of his new home. He didn't expect too much of his roommates, from everything he's heard, they're average, if a bit childish at times. What he didn't expect was three just-out-of-college students all with music majors and a thrill for doing stupid bullshit. As he gets whisked away in their little adventures, his life changes and his future starts to shape into something entirely new. Remus Lupin never expected to be a rock star. Remus knew Sirius was innocent. That doesn't help anyone. When Remus tried contacting his boyfriend in Azkaban, the Ministry won't let him through. So he kept the letters with him, hoping on a dying wish that he can send them, at least get some contact. Sirius was one day away from proposing. That ring is worthless now. When Sirius was taken away from his boyfriend's and future fiancé's arms, after the death of his two best friends, he was alone, with nothing but a pen, paper, and a dying light in his eyes, hoping that he can send his letters, at least get some contact. And they are together in some way, either lit by the dim Christmas tree's lights or by the dim moon through the cell window. (This is probably only going to be 10 chapters at the most.
