Once, a Multiverse was born. Soon after its Creator made it, They realized it was chaotic and fragile: it needed Balance. It needed Guardians. Bonded pairs of soulmates, who would help and complement each other; the Creators decided to allow the Multiverse to regulate itself, to be independent, so They let Guardians form with minimal imput from Them and let soulmates meet each other naturally. They then sat and waited. And sure, maybe They wanted some meetings to go a certain way, and maybe They interfered a bit to make it happen, but that's what being a Creator it's all about! The passion! The drama! The parallels! When Creation and Destruction would meet, it was going to be amazing! or Error was minding his own business, living it up in the Antivoid, when suddenly he got an infestation of the worst kind: abominations! To get rid of all of the anomalies inside his house, our (unwilling) hero will have to travel across the Multiverse on a quest, accompanied by an unlikely sidekick. His journey will be long and perilous (and annoying), filled with danger, friendship, betrayal, books, crocheting, and even true love! Also gay panic. Some gay panic. Dream is the guardian of positivity, and Nightmare is the guardian of negativity. But, there is something Nightmare doesn't know about. No one knows about it except for Dream. Every time the multiverse has more negativity than positivity Dream is hurt. And if there is no positivity Dream will die.
