When doubt clouded the young man's heart because of a villain named Syren, he slowly loss his sanity. What if I can't live up to their expectations? What if I can't be a hero? What if I'm a big failure as a successor of the One-for-All? What if... What if... And so the demon that hides inside of Deku slowly emerges as his sanity slowly breaks down. The definition of Prosopagnosia is a neurological disorder of the brain, also known as face blindness, where a person can't recognize, or see faces. Izuku, who'd gotten into an accident training, woke up to discover phantoms surrounding him. Yes, they were normal people, but with the looks as if rubber skin was stretched over their skulls. Izuku, with a weak, but sharp mind, slowly begins to lose himself to the demons that surround him, and falls further into the nightmare, that is his very life.

Theirs a mental institution, for traumatized kids. These kids need to learn to live again. For some, it's been ten years. For some, five. But all of them were broken. Some have no hope left. Some have no will or motivation. Others still have seen too much. But it's been three years, and no new kids have come. No ones left, or healed during this time. Things have been going okay, progress has been made, and things are looking up. During the past three and counting years, the kids have grown close, and learned to cope better, and look out for each other, creating a home for themselves. They go to school, and visit other places, and do more things than they could before. They care for each other. Their a family now. So when a new kid comes, that no one can get to speak, or do much, what happens? This green haired kid, who has seen hell and back, who barely reacts to anything. Can the others help him heal? Can they heal? Maybe even one day, can they learn to relive and enter the world once again for themselves?

Izuku is a professional hacker that uses his hacking skills as well as physical strength to fight crime. He works in a small cafe as a barista, one which pro hero Aizawa frequents. Aizawa had been struggling to gather information about a vigilante that had been dealing with crimes neglected by police. Little did he know, the vigilante had been making him coffee every morning. Aizawa discovered the vigilante wasn't as old as they had predicted and was undeniably living alone. With crime on the rise, the vigilante seemed to be injured every time they met. In order to protect him from the dangers of villains, he will have to capture him first. [TW's include panic attacks, suicidal ideation, self harm and abuse.]

With Midnight as Izuku's mom, nothing could go wrong, right? Well dead WRONG! The reason for that is quite easy. Midnight never told Izuku that she works at UA but just a school, and she also never mentioned him to any colleagues of her. He is her biggest secret. Now with a group chat and a night away, Izuku is left with worry and no other choice than to grab his mother's phone which she has forgotten and ask the chat where she is.... Izuku Midoriya swore he'd become a hero to his mother. But, he was powerless in a super powered society. No hero agency in their right mind would even think a quirkless boy could be a hero- let alone believe in him. No one did. Not his classmates- who mocked and bullied him for simply being ordinary. Not even his own father- who blamed Izuku for his wife's death, and takes it out on the poor boy. But, even through the guilt of losing his mother, the constant discrimination, the starvation, the bullying, the never ending abuse, and the deadly self loathing, his passion for helping others just wouldn't die. He'd never let his promise to his mom remain unfulfilled. If the world would tell him he couldn't become a hero, then he'd prove them wrong by becoming his own hero- Deku. A vigilante. Izuku's heroic actions quickly made 'Deku' popular. The fact that he isn't a legal hero didn't stop him from saving countless lives, and capturing numerous villains. Heroes from all over Japan tried to catch the vigilante- not to arrest him, but to recruit him. Although, most heroes only wanted the fame and self promotion that came with catching the popular vigilante. Despite the fact that even top heroes tried to catch him, he always managed to somehow get away. --- All Might had his eyes on Deku, even before he became popular. He easily recognized selfless heroic actions from the boy, that seemed like non-existent qualities in any of the current pro heroes. He didn't just want to recruit him- he wanted Deku to be his successor. But, the teen always just barely managed to escape All Might's grip. Or would the temptation of finally having a friend lead Izuku straight into it? And what if the heroes weren't the only ones who thought he'd be a worthy successor? He was finally faced with the decision to save his friend by having the villians kidnap him. Was that the best choice though?
