Giyuu is a prince of a lovely kingdom. Problem is, his father isn't a good king. People are starting to riot, just as prince Giyuu falls very ill. A new doctor arrives but something is off about him.

Blue. The color made him angry. The blue of his eyes, the blue of his breath. Sanemi Shinazugawa hated it, he hated everything about the color blue. Blue was the color of Giyu Tomioka.

He's not sure how but Rengoku Kyojuro fell hard for the painfully oblivious and "emotionless" water pillar, Tomioka Giyu. Giyuu was sick not that any of the other pillars knew (or cared, so he thought). He was hit by a blood demon art in the final selection when he saw his best friend die right before his eyes, right when something inside him snapped and Giyuu lost the light in his eyes. His time was running out... Not that he cared he was happy that death would show its ugly face to him so that he could die, be at peace, and with his best friend again. Giyuu feared being a lone but he feared the pain of losing one close to him again so he distanced himself from his fellow hashiras, for that very reason as well as the facts that he knew his time was short (so he didn't want anyone to care about him), and that he didn't deserve to be a hashira it should've been Sabito. But will Giyuu open himself up to the possibility of loving another once more? Find a reason to fight to stay alive? Well, while I'm working on my other stories, I decided to make this to keep my readers happy...! Well, sort of. Really, it was because I keep getting distracted by random ideas that I know I'll never finish... so to keep myself on track and not distracted, I came up with this idea!
