"I missed you so much." I felt my eyes sting, as Shawn held onto me tightly, rocking me back and forth. A month was too long to be away from your better half. Each and every second that we spent apart only made our love stronger. Testing my patience and devotion, but I never gave up. I knew being back in his arms would make all of this time apart seem trivial. And having him hold me again, the scent of his warm cologne swarming around me did just that. He was back. And I was home.

i could still hear the music. it was muffled, but I could hear it.
