While George is live streaming, he accidentally outs himself in front of his whole stream. His life seems to be collapsing as his mother figures out the same thing as all his viewers did. George talks to his best friend, Dream, and decides to hopelessly ask to meet up with his "unknowing" best friend after his mother doesn't seem to want him in her house any longer. Dream, however, was watching George's stream as he outed himself and decides to not bring any of it up, realising George hides more and more from him. He has many siblings, decent grades, and a supportive family and friends. He's popular in school and has a "perfect" life. At least that's what everyone thinks. He is omnisexual and lives in Orlando, Florida, if that tells you anything. George has just moved to Florida from the UK and is trying to navigate high school as trans, female to male, teenager. He does his best to hide this but he can't control the actions of his former classmates in the UK. Dnf/Gream fanfic. Sapnap grew up in Texas, a state where being gay just wasn't something you were allowed to talk about- so he didn't. He never came out to his family and even when he made new friends who loved him unconditionally, he still couldn't bring himself to come out. Staying in the closet never felt like a problem once he moved to Florida with Dream, well, until a video collaboration introduced him to a boy that made him question if he could keep hiding. Now, Sapnap has to return to Texas for the first time since his move to Florida for his step-sister's birthday. What's waiting for him when he arrives is going to make keeping his sexuality a secret from his family that much harder.

George, almost the perfect bully's punching bag, finally meets the one person who will stand up for him. His bully's best friend. Even though George's life is in /shambles/, he's trying to find some comfort in his new...erm- friend. Unfortunately, he really can't just catch a break. Between his complicated relationship with his bully's best friend and the tragedies that occur as a result. Dream meets George, and immediately understands that something must be off. He wanted to make him feel better, and as he slowly makes more and more discoveries about George and his past, the worse it seems. Dream's in way over his head, not even considering the fact that he lives alone at 17 with his little sister to take care of. Sapnap also has issues. Every dream team member is traumatized and they all get their time to shine. Karl's here too. Pas de Deux (pawh-du-duh) A dance for two George is what we'd call a primo ballerino, or male principal dancer. He was considered a rising star in the academy. His dancing was comparable to a female in gracefulness and beauty. Clay was another primo ballerino. But, he was one of the best at the academy and was known worldwide as "The Dream" or "Dream." His footwork lured an audience and his leaps amazed everyone. When word got around that these two titans of ballet would perform a duet, it drew more crowds in.
