He began walking over to me. This is it. I'm dead. I saw his shoes come into my view as I was looking down, hair covering my face. "Look at me." He growled out. I started to cry, too afraid to look. He grasped my chin and lifted my face to meet his. I mentally gasped. It's the guy from last night. His eyes held surprise too, before anger erupted in them. I cowered back in fear of what he might do. "Who did this to your face?" He growled. I started to cry again and shake. "Him." I whispered and gave a small nod toward the guy who hit me.

[NOW PUBLISHED ON AMAZON! You can buy it here: http://bit.ly/ColdFireBUY] [*SAMPLE ONLY* LAST 10 CHAPTERS REMOVED] [A Wattpad featured novel] Melissa has a rare, undiagnosed disease, or so say the doctors that did tests on her for half of her life. She doesn't need a medical certificate to tell her that she's different. She was born with a body temperature so low that most people would die before they even started living. Keyword: most. Somehow, Melissa has managed to live for fifteen years, but those years have not been without their hardships. The doctors told her that in order for her organs to function in such cold conditions, her body must absorb the heat from the surrounding air in a painful process dubbed a "heat attack", which slowly turns her temporary home freezing and uninhabitable. Forced to move from city to city in order to keep everyone in her vicinity alive, and plagued by the stares and hushed whispers that accompany her, Melissa tries to lead a normal life. But she's failing miserably. And when she's approached by the new kid in school, all hope of an ordinary life slips from her grasp. Suddenly, strange is the new normal, and Melissa finds herself wrapped up in a new world where ghosts aren't "just in her head", glass windows shatter unprovoked, and rare, undiagnosed diseases aren't actually diseases at all. And to top it all off, someone - or multiple someones - seem to want her dead. So much for normal... © 2013 by shayebay All Rights Reserved PUBLISHED JUNE 26, 2019 WITH TYPEWRITER PUB!! She looked over at him with tears in her eyes before whispering, "In this cookie cutter world, you are either this or that; nothing in between, nothing of a mixed breed," At the Sacred Heart Charter School, one of the most prestigious boarding schools in North America, there lies a social hierarchy. Think Mean Girls, amplified. There are many young men who are considered to be King but there is only one Queen, simply because she terrifies everyone. When a new student arrives, it's safe to say that the cookie cutter world amuses him, and that's coming from the boy who has grown up in the Upper East Side of New York City. Soon enough, he makes it his mission to destroy everything "cookie cutter"-esque about this small bubble they call the world, but it's hard to take down a Queen who has no disloyal subjects from the fear she injects in their hearts.

When Christmas comes to the sleepy town of Hillbury, so does a love letter for Holly Ambrose - a love letter from a secret admirer. Amidst the yuletide balls and Christmas cheer of Victorian England, Holly vows to uncover the source of the letter, but will the self-avowed intellectual fall in love in the process? This Yuletide novella is twelve chapters long, with a chapter posted each day until Christmas beginning on Sunday the 14th. It's just a little christmas present to all my wonderful Wattpad friends.
