It's hard being the first dragon of a new species. Especially if your father is the last one of his kind. The last Nightfury. Sure, there's Deadly Nadders, Razorwhips, Stormcutters, Sand Wraiths but no Nightfurys. It also doesn't help that he's the King of all Dragons, the first dragon to befriend a human (we all know it was technically Uncle Cloudjumper, but Dad was the one who showed that peace amongst humans and dragons was possible), the Bewilderbeast conquer, blah blah blah. This story isn't about Dad. Not completely anyways. We are the Nightlights. We believe that there are more Nightfurys. And we're going to find them. [Art does not belong to me]
