(Sequel to "The Ferry Home" and the final book in my personal Amourshipping Trilogy) Taking place 2 days after the events of JN108, Even though 2 weeks have passed, the thought of his reunion with Serena was still fresh in his mind (thank 2 people from Vermilion for teasing Ash about it). He knew fate would let him and her meet again in the future, but he wished their second reunion would come faster. His wish was granted when Goh and Chloe offered to see her and Lisia's debut as an idol due in person.

(Serves as a prequel to "The Ferry Home", in which how Lisia learned of Serena's crush.) After finishing a recent contest in Slateport City and earning her fourth contest ribbon, Lisia invites Serena to a cafe to talk about how much she grew since her contest debut. Things begin to get interesting when Lisia brings up the topic of her source of inspiration, especially since that inspiration is a certain raven-haired boy.

Currently en-route home to Vermilion City from Lilycove, Goh and Chloe couldn't help but wonder about Ash's history with Serena, especially with him telling her his goals and vice versa, they proceed to learn more about their friend's past.
