Poe Dameron has never been called someone's own nor has he had the chance to feel worthy of anyone. When he runs away from his old life to start new, it doesn't exactly live up to the expectation. He doesn't have much faith that something could change it. Finn has never had a place or person to call home. After being in an orphanage for as long as he can remember, he decides to finally go off on his own and find something to give his life a little more meaning. Although he soon finds out that that something might be a someone. (Earth AU) Finn and Poe are both Lucasfilms' characters and I do not retain any rights to them. 28K word count

"Rey, can I speak to you a second?" Rey turned round, head tilted to one side. "What is it, Finn?" "You... you know Poe?" "Yeah?" "I love him." Finn has always felt that there's been something between him and fighter pilot Poe and has been bottling his feelings for a while. But Poe is sent off on a dangerous mission and may never come back. As usual, it comes down to Rey to chase him through the stars with his star-crossed lover and unite the couple. Rankings include: #1 in finnpoe #9 in stormpilot

'"Rey? Is she ok? P-Poe?! Where is he?" he said in a panicked raspy voice. He tried to sit up in a hurry but he shouted in pain when he felt a sharp sting run along his back." ~ '"Finn," Poe said breathlessly before he embraced the man he had been so worried about." ~ After Finn wakes up, Poe is constantly by his side. And of course, a little hand holding wouldn't hurt right? It's just for Finn's recovery. Sharing a bed with Finn when he has nightmares? Not a problem; it's only to help Finn. But when Finn notices his affection for Poe growing, will he act on it? Or will he panic, causing Poe to become a reckless mess? BB-8 is just waiting for both men to admit that they've fallen for each other. ~ Be warned, lots of fluff. The summary kind of sucked but I promise the story will be better :) ~ I do not own Star Wars or any of it's characters and credit is given to the artists of any fan art used unless stated otherwise.

Finn and Poe leave the Resistance to go on a "sabatical" but its only ruse for that Poe is only doing this to get closer to Finn and tell him how he really feels. Get ready for one hell of a vacation in Canto Bight in the shadows.
