Midoriya Izuku ran away at age 10, tired of the bullying and abuse he had to put up with from friends, teachers, and even family. He was a hairs width away from jumping before he met Dabi, who potentially saved his life. Dabi took Midoriya back to their base where Midoriya grew up. Skip forward 6 years when Midoriya is a full fledged villain, what happens when he didn't run away, he chose to stay and fight the heroes to get his 'family' out? What happens when he gets caught, the rest of the league soon after? What happens when Midoriya, and everyone else, is offered a deal, rehabilitation at UA in the hero course or a life sentence in jail? What happens when he meets a boy, a boy who wasn't scared of him, a boy who was dead set on turning Midoriya, as well as everyone else in the league, back to the heroes he knew they could be.

Swan Dive Summary The Slime Villain Incident, and the events leading up to it happen one year earlier. Izuku, broken and lost in the face of All Might's words, decides to take Kacchan's advice. But a familiar Underground Hero won't let a young life end so quickly. How will a simple right-place-right time scenario change things? OR: Aizawa Shouta saves the life of Midoriya Izuku and finds himself with a new apprentice and surrounded by a quickly growing family circle. What has he gotten himself into? Heavy Dadzawa and Dadmic. Auntie Nemuri and eventual redeemed Bakugo.

Deku is quirkless but also kind of really not. His quirk has death activation, and when re wakes up after dying, his quirk remolds itself to relate to how he died. He keeps each quirk as he dies. The more he dies, the more powerful he is. The more painful the death, the more emotionless he becomes. Quirk exhaustion comes in the form of emotional loss. Only natural reactions and natural responses will remain after 300 deaths. That number came a lot sooner than it should have. Or alternatively: Izu loves his dad, his dad would burn the world for him, All Might is absolutely screwed, karma's a bitch and Izuku's quirk might actually take over the world unintentionally.
