Mabel and Dipper moved back to Gravity falls to be closer to their great uncles and because they're parents wanted to move to back, plus it was closer to the organization. Maria pines is apart of an organization with Angel's and honorary Angel's. The greatest hero school has expected Dipper and Mabel to attend there as well, so another good reason. Mabel has her father's power which is creation and hits of healing because of her mother's healing side. Dipper has her mother's power which is an Angel and hits of creation because of his father. Villains start to terrorize the next generation of heroes. One group figures out a way to make sure everyone's goal finally comes into action.

This summer in Gravity Falls counts the fourth summer after Weirdmageddon. While trying to catch the gnome that took his hat, Dipper runs into Bill Cipher's statue, and accidentally shakes his hand, releasing Bill and his powers back into Gravity Falls. But that isn't the only mysterious event that's happening. Grunkle Stan and Grunkle Ford are keeping something from the twins.
