Cities were swarmed by mobs of what the few remaining survivors dubbed as 'Zombies'. The virus messed with their brains, driving them insane with a crazy instinct to kill. Survivors fled, taking refuge in defended shelters, sticking in groups. But nothing can keep the infected back. No defences. No weapons. No running. With numbers steadily rising and the living population dying out, the world is still no closer to finding a cure. And now people are starting to wonder, is this really the end of the world? He sheepishly smiled at me, one hand still tugging at the edge of his jacket in a nervous way. I couldn't help but smile, he was so cute when he did that. "U-Um, C-Cross?" He stutters, tripping on his words. I look down at him. "Yeah, Epic?" "A-Are...Are you okay?" He asks, seeming to have changed the question, mid-thought. I wondered what he would've asked me, if he had the courage to. He doesn't like me...I like him more than anything in the world, but, HIM like ME? I wasn't so sure about that now. This is a story about two skeleton lovers. After they CROSSed paths through a NIGHTMARE. The smaller one had been stuck in an AU called X-Tale, with one person, who doesn't talk much unless they're in a FIGHT. There, the skeleton sat alone, absolutely nothing to do, and no way out. But one day, another skeleton came. He was bigger, and way stronger. The smaller skeleton asked and begged him to set him free, and he did. Only to have him work for him. And the smaller did whatever he wants, mainly because he owes him his life. It's been many years since then, and the smaller skeleton gotten used to everything, and does everything perfect. He gets certain feelings he doesn't understand. He chooses to ignore, but it only gets worse. With the smaller skeleton find out what it is? Will it get worse? Will he ignore it again? Or will he ACT?
