"I'll save you from the pirates." Katara ran into the back of his chest. She mentally cursed herself. She quickly bent some water to freeze on the fire prince's feet. It bought her just barely enough time to bend water to carry her away. Then the water began bending back towards the shore. One of the pirates was a water bender. They pulled me under and wouldn't allow me to take a breath of air, they crashed my body against the rocks several times before finally allowing me up. When I broke through the surface I took a deep breath. Zuko reached in and dragged me out, tying me to a tree. "Where's the Avatar?" He asked. And that's where it all began..... Under Editing!

What happens when Zuko's eighteenth birthday comes around, and the Gaang frantically compiles a birthday celebration? Probably disaster. POV Katara Crazyness, awkwardness, and a little bit of romance make up this short story. Enjoy! If you have any questions, just ask. Through the years she is a servant to the royal fire nation family. as she becomes older she learns to hate the fire nation. Then she escapes, what happens when Zuko and katara meet up again but are no longer children? When the banish prince is only wanting to restore his honor? Can the two defeat the odds of nature? Fire and water? Will they be able to love each other or are they forced be enemy's just like the elements they bend.

After the war, Katara is sick of following Aang around, she is sick of being called 'the avatar's girl' as if she was only some prize and not the powerful water and blood bender that she is. So Katara leaves the avatar and her destiny takes her deep into the Fire Nation where she meets a famed Blue Spirit that needs her help.
