It is stupendous how people conquer the rigors of life-how they always get up on their feet, after falling and scraping their knee; how they carry on with their life after someone passed away; burying the pain no words can utterly spell, and romanticizing resiliency.
Ysabelle viewed her existence in the lenses of dejection. At a raw age, she lost her father. She struggles to fit in because the world perceives her unconventional-for she see things science can't explain. Years later, her very first friend eventually passed away, and she believes she was the one accountable for it. Guilt take a great toll on her, Ysabelle isolated herself, shutting the world and everyone in it-not by choice, but because of an old friend from her childhood. A lady in a white dress.
Then serendipitiously, she got herself stumbled upon someone... someone reflecting a beam of light. Someone who brushed the darkness away and repainted her life with hues of gold. For a fleeting moment, her life was luminous.
