Luffy stumbles upon Nami by chance on a small island after the crew was separated at Sabaody Archipelago. The two decide to train together, but then comes the warm, weird feelings. Luffy starts blushing whenever he encounters physical contact with her. He feels strange. He has never felt this way about a girl before. *This is a sequel to The Two of Us* For five years, Nami has been thinking about him and his goofy grin, along with that straw hat that never left the top of his head. She had missed his laugh and everything about him. Why can't she just get over him? Why can't she just move on from an ex-highschool boyfriend from five years ago? But it all gets worse as soon as that man shows up randomly and moves back to his hometown that he left when he and Nami split up. What's worse is that he has some news that completely tore Nami apart, and it was hard for her to talk to the first love of her life like she used to. Will they get back together, or will they remain friends for the rest of their lives?

Summer was over. It's time for the start of a new year at East Blue High School for the Straw Hat Crew. Luffy had gone all summer without seeing one of his closest friends; Nami. She comes back sad, and unlike herself after the woman who adopted her had passed away. For some reason, Luffy starts getting all these weird feelings when he's with Nami. These feelings are feelings that he's never had before. Was he sick? Was he allergic to Nami? This was all weird to him. Nami had feelings like this for Luffy for a while. It was just super hard for her to admit it. She's had these feelings since she met Luffy in eighth grade. Nami hasn't even fallen that hard for anybody, especially a clueless idiot who is obsessed with eating and wants nothing to do with relationships. This junior year was weird for both Luffy and Nami, since they both are realizing the feelings they have for each other. It wasn't as simple as either of them thought it would be, though. Hello! This story is about the characters of the anime "One Piece," but they're all highschoolers in their 3rd year. The main focus of this story is on Nami and Luffy, the two characters I've shipped since they first met each other. This is my first ever story I am putting out there, so please give me suggestions on how I could improve my writing. Just to let you all know, the characters in here are all normal teenagers. Chopper, isn't a reindeer. Franky isn't a cyborg. Zoro isn't a swordsman. Brook isn't a skeleton. None of the characters have devil fruits. In fact, they don't even exist. Being with them since the beginning as you go through painful times, undergo adventures, and explore the vast ocean for One Piece; it's only natural to develop feelings right? or The crew and their non-eventful days of fighting, relaxing on their ship as they watched their captain's strange behavior towards their navigator. or "What's dating?" Luffy misunderstands the definition and Nami can only stay confused for so long. pre-sabaody/before time-skip

Freshman, Monkey D. Luffy is pressured to ask out Nami, one of the most popular girls in Fushia High in exchange for a meal after a huge misunderstanding. Luffy didn't care for things like relationships or girls. He had his life to worry about but decided to try his luck. One of his greatest fears was dying of starvation. His very life was at stake and the job was pretty simple.

Set in an alternate history of the Sabaody Archipelago Arc, Bartholomew Kuma sends both Luffy and Nami to the same place, and the pair finds themselves with only each other to look out for. What transpires next mirrors that of the Summit War Saga, but with more action, thrill, and, of course, romance. *DISCLAIMER* This story is going to start right in the middle of the action, so it will definitely help to read or reread (or watch / re-watch) the Summit War Saga as many of the events are similar but not identical to the One Piece story.
