Goneril is a General. One of the greatest warriors in Middle-Earth. At the head of a mercenary legion, she crosses Arda in search of new agreements. Men or Elves, Dwarves or Orcs, peoples of the Earth are enemies or clients for her. Never friends. Goneril is a woman. She apparently has no past, and a very uncertain future. There is someone, in the kingdom of Rohan, who will face her ferocity and find out who she really is. Short extract: {{ Goneril did not seem impressed. A girl who had survived a hundred lashes on her back at the age of thirteen, could certainly stand the hard stare of a man at the age of thirty. "See, I'm confused." She said, her red lips widening in a grin. "You talk about orders. But from what I have seen, it is no longer Éomer who gives orders, here. Neither Théoden nor his son, poor prince on the verge of death. Your noble family has been degraded to servitude." }} ⚜️⚜️⚜️ Italian FF translated in English. Please forgive eventual mistakes . 🙏🏻 The plot is based on the movie "Lotr - The Two Towers" by Peter Jackson. Most of the characters are inspired by Tolkien's works. Update 21 August 2021: 10K views!! Thank you all! 🍾

When Gandalf the Grey seeks aid beyond the armies of Elves, Men, and Dwarves, he turns to Clara Lockwood, the alpha of one of the biggest and most fiercely protective wolf packs in Middle-Earth. Though her bloodline traces back to Carcharoth, the great Wolf of Angband, Clara's lineage long ago turned away from darkness. For generations, her ancestors have worked in secrecy to undo the evil tied to their name, choosing instead to become silent guardians of Middle-Earth. Where legend once spoke of terror, her family forged a legacy of protection, sacrifice, and redemption. Tasked with aiding Frodo Baggins and the Fellowship of the Ring, Clara is sworn to help see the One Ring destroyed in the fires of Mount Doom. Yet the journey places her beside someone she never intended to fight alongside again: Legolas Greenleaf of Woodland Realm. Once allies, their bond was broken by an encounter that shattered trust and left only bitterness in its wake. As the Fellowship travels through shadowed lands and unrelenting danger, Clara's alpha instincts and wolf-shifter nature become both a shield and a threat. Forced to rely on one another, she and Legolas are drawn into an uneasy partnership; one marked by sharp words, lingering resentment, and undeniable tension. Slowly, mistrust gives way to understanding, and hostility to something far more dangerous. As war looms and darkness presses in, Clara and Legolas find themselves battling not only the enemies of Middle-Earth, but the terrifying pull of emotions neither expected nor wanted. For an alpha bound by duty to her pack and an elf sworn to his people, love may be the greatest risk of all...but it may also be the very thing that carries them through the road to Mordor. - All Rights Reserved © Cover made by yours truly x I do not own any of Tolkien's marvellous creations, characters or the original plot of The Lord of the Rings I only own Clara Lockwood and her story. - • long chapters • -

~ edit in progress ~ uploading whenever possible (usually: every Sunday) ~ Edited: Prologue, Chapters I-IV Currently Editing: Chapter V-X New Chapters Arriving: 5th July 2026 "He is known in the Wild as Strider," his father Thranduil had said to him, before Legolas embarked on that journey to the North, seeking the son of Arathorn amongst the Dúnedain. Yet nothing in those words-or in the King's measured tone-had prepared him for the path already carved before him. A path that would not only alter his fate but entwine it with that of a stranger he meets in the shadows of a pub in Bree. Years later, as the War of the Ring fades into legend and the twilight of the Third Age gives way to the dawn of the Fourth, this unfortunate encounter follows the elven prince still. What then began as a diplomatic mission becomes a web of choices and consequences bound by a power older-and perhaps more perilous-than even Sauron's Ring. Alliances will be tested and from the echoes of the Old War new shadows will rise threatening to unravel the peace that was so hardly fought over to be claimed. What will it take to preserve what was won, and who will rise to pay the price when peace begins to fracture? An ongoing tale inspired by the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, this story delves into the untold corners of Middle-Earth-a journey of loyalty, sacrifice, and the unseen forces of fate that shape us all. Join the adventure, and help shape the unfolding tapestry of myth, mystery, and heroism displayed not by heroes but from those who bear its cost. "King Thranduil's voice rung out again, filling the area, 'And Legolas? Do not fail, she could be the tipping of the balance that Middle-earth needs.'" - Lumornel has always been a quiet girl, content with her nose stuck in a book or writing in her journal. She'd rather sit in a tree and read than leave the forests of her home. But she then learns that not all is as it seems. An unexpected quest is thrust upon her. Her shyness must be swept aside and she must stand strong as the War of the Rings rages on. And what happens when Lumornel stops an Uruk-Hai from shooting Boromir on Amon Hen and the Ring is taken from Frodo? In these times of troubles, she finds unexpected love in a certain woodland prince. She faces terrifying enemies, unexpected consequences, and surprising revelations, such as her part in an ancient prophecy. And one constant remains; the sorrow she feels for Arda. Most importantly, she finds herself in the middle of it all because of one thing: she bears a power that no one has been known to have. Because of this power, she is forced into the Fellowship of the Ring: the tenth member. - "This story is not your average Lord of the Rings fanfiction where some girl enters the fellowship as the tenth walker and inherits some strange ability, it is much more than that. It is a story of love and compassion, the battle against the mind's inner demons, and the weariness and desire for a better world that drives the soul." - • Completed 7/31/18 • - Awards won: •Overall Winner and •Best Female Character of the 'Precious Awards' hosted by @Meisha13578. •Second Place in 'The Battle of Helm's Deep' hosted by @Middle_Earth_Awards Highest Rankings: •1 in lotrfanfiction •1 in LotR •1 in middle-earth •1 in legolasgreenleaf •2 in Tolkien •1 in original character • 1 in lotrau •1 in projectclean • 2 in Legolasfanfiction - *Contains a chapter written by nonother than Monste
