There wasn't anything she could do about it other than pout and whine. However, the Outer Banks and it's sticky weather with it's stupid sand and salty water was the least of her worries. Because just around the corner we're these four teenagers that called themselves Pogues and she somehow managed to get dragged along in their stupid treasure hunt for... gold? Today we call them the founders and together they created the zones. Each zone has different duties to society and was given a color to represent its people. Pink are the Government Officials. Purple runs our Law and Safety Department. The Blues all focus on some type of Science or Medicine. While Greens focus on Technology and Communication. Yellows are in charge of our Agriculture and Natural Resources. Orange heads the Architecture and Construction of the city. And lastly Reds, they make sure our Transportation in always running smoothly. Everyone is born into the same zones as their parents and changing zones is extremely rare. From the second you're born you're life has been decided for you and everyone knows their place and their duties. The founders thought the system was flawless and it was for a while.
