In 2225 after a malfunction with a UNSA ship humanity discovered a world known as Remnant, home to humans, a human-like race known as the Faunus, and monsters known as Grimm. The UNSA, after learning of its history, formed an alliance with Remnant and welcomed it into the UNSA interplanetary sphere. You're a member of SCAR, SATO's Naval Special Warfare Group who's recently been stationed on Remnant to garrison the planet, and defend it from any extra-solar threats.
