Take flight with this book of stories about your favorite naval pilots! I'll be writing from both Top Gun and Top Gun: Maverick. All characters and references to the movies are not mine. The only part I claim is my ideas for these short stories.

GRACE "BARBIE" MITCHELL, and Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw, went to Top Gun together and graduated in the same class. They always had a flirty nature about them, but to the public they were just friends. So, when Bradley gets deployed before Grace and ends whatever they had going on, Grace was destroyed. 4 years later they get called back to Top Gun to try and participate for a spot in this new dangerous mission. How will they react when seeing each other for the first time in years? Oh, not to mention that Grace and Bradley's dads went to Top Gun together. Yep, Grace's dad is Pete Mitchell "Maverick". DISCLAIMER: i watched the movie in the theatre and have to wait until it comes out on paramount plus to rewatch, so quotes may not be accurate. ALSO: some scenarios are in this story are made up that aren't included in the movie! just bonuses! :)

On March 3, 1969 the United States Navy established an elite school for the top one percent of its pilots. Its purpose was to teach the lost art or aerial combat and to insure that the handful of men who graduated were the best fighter pilots in the world. They succeeded. Their mission is to attack an military base in the ocean, which was built by an underground organization called oak falls which smuggles weapons of all kinds and tries to activate an nuclear weapon.
