Royal AU/Fantasy AU "Nature always finds a way to ensure balance. But it might not be achieved in the way you think- or want." George, a prince, who's destined to inherit the throne but couldn't be anymore opposed to the idea. Especially since he carries on detrimental secret. Then one night he's told to flee if he wishes to live. Reason? Unknown. After being chased through darkness, George soon finds himself amongst an (literally) underground society that despises the reign more than anything. Keeping his real identity hidden and pretending to be just another nobody, he's introduced to a world that's vastly different from his former life in the kingdom. Secrets are revealed and he's shown a completely new side to life that makes him question everything he's ever known. George's new situation is in his eyes close to perfection. Finally, he's found the place where he was always meant to be. But there's one problem, or rather a person, that refuses to accept George as a new member no matter how hard he tries. And how long can a runaway prince pretend to be something he's not before the truth is exposed? (FYI: I do not ship these people IRL and the story will be removed if anyone mentioned expresses discomfort.) Clay didn't believe in love, he thought it was a waste of time, he usually visits a small coffee shop where he could read and study, his friend Nick would sometimes tag along with his boyfriend. one day, clay walked In the same shop, but this time, there was a new worker that caught his eye, a boy behind the counter. ~~ George needed help. His mother died and his father left him and his little sister, abandoned, George got a job so he could pay the bills and look after his sister, he's currently living with two good friends from school. He used to work as a writer, but his boss never appreciated his work, and wouldn't pay him enough. Giving up on that dream, he found out he had special skills in making coffee, will he be able to balance school and work again? will that skill save him and his sister? All while dealing with eating disorders and recovering from self harm? Will working in a coffee shop change his life? ------- this is my first PROPER dnf story. It will probably slowly get farther away from the topic but I'll try not to let that happen. There could be spelling mistakes but I'll try to spot them. All the info you need is in the first chapter. George moves into a new house with a full body mirror that is seemingly permanently attached to his basement wall. That night he is awoken by a strange humming noise. Curious, the brit makes his way downstairs cautiously and stares in awe at the mirror. For the mirror is swirling and rippling like the surface of an ocean, the humming noise emitting from it. A bright blue glows from inside it and George is entranced, he steps forward and places his hand against the supposed-to-be-reflective surface, but he suddenly is sucked forward and into the unknown regions beyond. Into a cottage on the edge of a luscious mushroom island. 12/20/21 - #4 in DNF

Two of the city's superheroes fight villians and protect the city whilst keeping their true identities a secret. They cannot even know the names of each other, their faces disguised by their magical jewels. Dream is a flirty, cocky and impulsive hero with a sword and a smirk, never failing to cast witty and flirty remarks at his partner. GNotFound is clever and calculated, and can't stand being near the flirty masked hero. Exams, friend groups, crushes, fights and prom should be their main stressors. But George and Clay barely have time to sleep, let alone focus on anything else. None of that stops George from crushing hard on his classmate, but Clay's heart seems to be somewhere else. Perhaps with a certain masked hero he secretly spends nearly every day with. Neither can escape the responsibilities on their shoulders, and they can't tell anyone their problems. The only person that could possibly understand what they are going through, is each other. But they don't even know who that is. Which is Super inconvenient. George had moved school a lot since his parents had to travel for work, his most recent high school being one in Florida. But with every day he spends there he finds himself getting more and more worried for his life as another student's secret book affects more of his life. Clay has the best book ever. Almost anything written inside of it comes true and he's constantly using it to his advantage. Captain or president of every school club and team, rich parents, highest grades in the school.
