Just when Carmen thought it was all over, a new evil power emerges in the form of VILE escaping again. Not with much vigor as her early days, Carmen recruits a young 15 year old girl by the name of Marinette and adopts her as her own daughter and descendent. She then trains her to become the second super thief in the world, with three of her friends, Plagg, Adrien and Luka. TW: None of them are super heroes, there's no hawkmoth or akumatising in this story. Carmen is retired. Marinette is an orphan and Adrien and Luka are dating.
