Miles is a Deaf woman living in an apocalypse with her dog, Max. Before the end of the wold, Miles worked at various jobs that were connected to the Deaf community. She mainly worked at a shelter, caring and watching the animals. That's where Miles met Max, a beautiful blue-eyed Husky. Max was her ears. Somehow he knew Miles was Deaf and always made sure to get her attention when it was needed. When the apocalypse hit, Miles and Max took off to Atlanta where she thought the both of them would be safe. She was wrong. Atlanta was bombed, making Miles and a group of people set camp at a quarry. The group was an odd one, each with different personalities but somehow they came together. The group was strong and Miles knew they would be able to survive anything. ((Not the best description, sorry))

She never had much in her life that gave her a reason to care. High school sucked, but her family sucked more. Cory was alone in her world until she met Daryl and Merle. After that, she basically became the third Dixon. They were inseparable, of course until the threat of the undead rose up and forced them apart. Cory spent the first 6 months of the apocalypse living in luxury within a little town called Woodbury. As the leader's lady, she basically got to live like nothing had changed. That was until she noticed him losing his sanity and left before things could rot over. She hid in a truck outside of the CDC for only a week before a certain troubled group crossed her path, providing her with one thing she had been wishing for since Day 001, a Dixon. Well, after the first night of getting to know the group, she realized she got a little more than that.
