They called her 'Obeah Gal', although they had no hard and fast evidence to prove their accusation. No oddities like bones and bird feathers, or bottles or perhaps a skeleton of some sort in her little shed of a home... In fact, she seemed to be more of a 'mad woman' than anything else--she ought to have been locked up in Bellevue, according to some--and yet, not quite that either. She seemed to have healing hands. ***Suitable for all ages.*** ON HIATUS. Something's keeping seventeen-year-old Daniel up at night── something that's growing and developing within him, a certain desire he fears could bring chaos and shame upon him and everyone he knows if it ever comes to light, and things only go south when he reunites with Roger, the best friend he was forced to leave behind after moving up north. With only a telephone to keep their connection alive, the duo have successfully overcome their long-distance problem, but after a series of concerning chats over the phone, Daniel visits his old neighborhood over the spring break to confront his friend. What he finds, however, is not the good old Roger, but rather a completely new person, broken and torn on the inside. When Roger and Daniel challenge each other's secrets, what will become of them and their individual selves? © 2019 Indigo Ivy Salamander / @indigosa All Rights Reserved Featured on @lgbtq, @FreeTheLGBT, @StoriesUndiscovered & @WattpadShortStory. ~This is a Completed Short Story~
