During a battle with one of Eggman's robots, Rouge gets badly hurt. Knuckles realizes just how much she means to him as he goes to extreme lengths to help her recover.

Knuxouge Medieval AU! Rouge is the princess of a small country. Her father the king taxes the people unfairly. So a group of bandits, the Sonic Rogues, have risen up to steal from the rich and give to the poor! But the whole kingdom will be shaken when the princess starts to fall for one of the bandits with a heart of gold...

Inside a room filled with the finest jewels, on the grandest pedestal in the very center, sits a well-preserved flower ring. "Mama, what's so special about this one? It doesn't glitter like the others," Daisy asks. Her eyes are wide with innocence while she gazes at her mother. "Well darling, even I have to admit," Rouge sighs, "some things are more precious than jewels."

Amy bets Rouge 2 concert tickets that she can't make the reclusive loner Knuckles be her date. Rouge has never paid attention to Knuckles before, but she really wants those concert tickets. [Set in a high school, so they don't have crazy superpowers. Sonic doesn't have super speed, Rouge can't fly, Silver doesn't have mind powers, etc. they are normal teens for the most part, and their ages are a little switched around just so they're all in high school.]

Knuckles has been hunting down the elusive vampire Rouge for years. Finally he has her cornered, but when an accident occurs that leaves him mortally wounded, he finds himself wishing he didn't have to die...

This is a story about Knuckles the Echidna, and Rouge the Bat. Throughout the games and show, they have shown a relationship with each other. Most people ship Shadow and Rouge, but I find it overrated, and Knuckles x Rouge deserves more attention. Anyway, I hope you enjoy, and this is one of my first stories, so please be gentle!

This story is technically the next part of my other story. Its where Rouge and Knuckles are dating, but it has a completely different plot and story. I suggest you read my other story before reading this one!
