Haeley is just your average girl. Just over twenty, she has secretly dedicated her time to researching aliens and odd weather formations of the rural planes of New Mexico. However, things become extremely odd as she finds herself suddenly in the midst of Loki Laufeyson, Norse God of Mischief, who she has the uncanny ability to see when veiled with magic. Interested, Loki invites her to come to Asgard. All seems to be going well, until a mysterious blowout occurs between Loki and Thor, Loki's brother. Haeley's life takes a sharp spiral after Loki's death, but what will happen when she finds out that he's alive, after all? And not only alive, but thirsty for vengeance... On Earth? Adventure, sorrow, and romance have Haeley in a choke-hold as she somehow gets trapped in the middle of this wild fight between heroes and villains. See through the eyes of this flightless bird as she manages to survive, learn, and suffer. Maybe even fall in love.

After the New York attack, Loki is captured by the Avengers and was supposed to return to Asgard with his brother Thor. But somehow, he ends back on earth and loses his powers. While lurking on earth, he accidentally bumps into Alice Sigyn, who offers to help him, and secretly ruin him if he ever betrays her. But it seems her feelings will betray her first as she realizes she's falling for the God of Mischief. (Can be read as an alternate storyline to 'Avengers' or the 'Loki' series.)
