He already grown attached to Drew and Cale- his mother and twin, and now the mother dies leaving him and Cale. This makes Ciel realize the events in the novel WILL happen. Now he wants to stop it- with the help of his equally stubborn younger brother. So basically Kim becomes Cale's twin then you know Drew dies, Deruth becomes a horrible father, Ciel gets a little clingy to Cale for a bit in fear of losing him, they meet the Thames, now they have to find out who they are own their own. The unlock abilities that help them be in snyc (?) with each other. While being Op ofc ;) Also Cale still gets beaten to a pulp... Somehoe Feel like I wrote the whole plot of the story down.

With Cale, the rules don't apply. Two boys who don't let other people close- except each other, and the three kids they're raising, and the chaotic friend group that won't leave them alone. Someone should have told Venion Stan to leave them alone.
