The Scralet Guard had now become an ally with the royals and swore an oath to protect the King and search for the lightening girl. Mare Barrow were found soon after the appointed of King of Norta, and yet they had something planned for her, she will become the the commands and fright for the King, using her power and protect the King, as they will kept her hidden under the nose of the King. A new adventures is now set for Mare Barrow , she will had to protect her only true love and yet stay away from him. Using her time and slowly mending her heart from the mistaken, bring back herself the strong lightening girl she once were and the love to the King himself .

This is a continuation of the Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard after the end of War Storm. It goes more in-depth of how the characters live after Norta became a republic and what that kind of government looks like in Norta. There may no longer be Kings but there is still large conflict yet to be dealt with and decisions, political and personal, to be made. (Some one this was also inspired by the song Say When by the Fray which has always reminded me of red queen)
