"Unacceptable. If there's one thing that a conveniently appearing overpowered entity in this world has shown us, is that we are seen as weak and hopeless. I find that previous life's terms unacceptable. I want a better world. With these hands, I dare to seek a better world, and I will endure what I must to see it so." Achieving a world where Summoning Japan isn't needed is by no means easy, especially when that destiny is enforced through brutal impunity, but still- With his memories of his previous life, the Fate's Rebel decided to use his advance knowledge for the prosperity of his homeland. His ancestors may have set the grounds for the Holy Milishial Empire to shine high in the sky, but he will make sure that it will shine victoriously. Forever. ALTERNATIVE TITLE: Native character is so sick and tired of the constant ridicule that it made him time-travel post-mortem just so that he can defy the very idea of summoning conveniently overpowered entities. Oh, you don't like the HME? Too bad, they're thriving and prospering. DISCLAIMER: (Despite the story's tone of against the concept of Nihonkoku Shoukan, this is still a fan work of the novel Nihonkoku Shoukan/Summoning Japan, which belongs to Minorou-sensei.) With news of the incident spreading worldwide, Japan accepts assistance from the United States who dispatch a Marine Expeditionary Unit to Tokyo, determined to push through the portal and confront the unknown. What lies beyond the Gate is more than just an enemy, it's an entire civilization, steeped in its own conflicts and politics. As the clash of worlds intensifies, the struggle is no longer just about vengeance. it's about the fate of two realms forever changed by the opening of the Gate. Cover Art custom commissioned by the author and made by Hawari on Fiverr. Ranked #1 #gate 3/3/25 DISCLAIMER: I do not own Gate nor the images I'm using. I'm writing this story based on the Anime, I never read the manga or the novel. Despite the title, the story introduces a vast expansion in the world and lore of gate as well as changes, but everything remains true to the Gate formula. At first It was supposed to be only a Gate X Marine fanfic but over time it developed into an alternative plot line diverging from the original so don't be surprised why the first season strictly sticks to canon.

The year is 2057. After twelve years of devastating world war and ten years of the recovery, the world has been irrevocably changed. Nations have set aside their differences, uniting in the pursuit of progress and cooperation. One of the most significant outcomes of the war is the formation of the European Federation, a unified superstate forged through unanimous consensus among Europe's nations-an unprecedented step toward a new era of peace and advancement. But on June 18, 2057, the unthinkable happens. Without warning, a blinding light engulfs the entire continent. Within moments, Europe simply vanishes-leaving behind only an empty ocean. The rest of the world is left in shock, scrambling for answers. Investigations begin, but there is no trace of the missing superstate. Unbeknownst to those left behind, the European Federation has not been destroyed-it has been transported. They awaken in a world eerily similar to Earth in technology, yet vastly different in its inhabitants. This new world is home to autonomous androids, beast-like humanoids, and, most astonishingly, students bearing glowing halos atop their heads. Realizing they are stranded in an unfamiliar realm, the European Federation must adapt to survive. How will the native civilizations react to this new arrival? How will Kivotos respond to the presence of an advanced, war-hardened human nation? And how will the Europeans reconcile their rationalist, post-war ideals with the bizarre realities of this world? Their fate is uncertain, but one truth remains-nothing will ever be the same again. -------------------------------------------- I do not own any image or GIF in this story, they belong to their respective owner. Beneath the classified depths of Area 51, a decades-long black project known as Project ARKSEK has achieved what was once thought impossible: the creation of a stable, functional gateway to another world. In the wake of this discovery, the United States mobilizes its most advanced and sophisticated military units and scientific minds to establish the first human presence beyond the Gate. However, this new world "Terra" is no uninhabited frontier. It is a planet shaped by its own complex histories, fractured societies and scarred by Catastrophe. Home to diverse nations built upon the foundation of Originium, an enigmatic mineral that fuel its entire civilizations but also spreads a deadly disease that has no cure, known as Oripathy. What begins as an exploration mission slowly becomes something far more complicated. Fraught with dangers unlike anything humanity has ever encountered before. As American forces attempt to understand and navigate this alien yet familiar landscape, they will be forced to confront questions of morality, control, diplomacy and weighing the cost of intervention. What they will find on the other side may change the future of both worlds. For better or for worse. Every discovery always has a cost. And some doors, once opened, cannot be closed.
