I was on my way to the checkout when the most amazing scent hit me. It was a strong scent of lavender and orchids that made my mouth nearly water. The smell was enough to drive me crazy. Following it, I came to a stop near the middle of the store. Instantly, my eyes spotted a beautiful girl with long blonde hair. When she turned around, her mesmerizingly bright blue eyes caught my dark brown ones. My wolf whispered one word to me that I was so excited to hear. 'Mate' My wolf began trying to connect with hers. Smiling, my mate walked closer to me. I furrowed my brows when my wolf whined. 'Something's wrong. I can't connect to her.' I sniffed the air around us, pushing her scent away. Impossible.
